Oh my goodness, I can't say enough good things about the Curls Replenish Leave-In Conditioner by Surface! I am a licensed cosmetologist with over a decade of experience. I've got 4a hair, and finding the right products can be a real challenge. But this one? Absolute game-changer. If you have curly hair and are looking for a truly all in one product then this is it! I will admit that sometimes I get lazy with my multistep curly hair routine and sometimes just want to put one product in and go or just pare my routine down and this leave in does everything I need it to do and more! From hydrating to heat protecting and detangling! I love the spray bottle application so it is easy to coat all of my thick hair easily, and without having to get my hands messy. This leave in makes my hair feel soft, shiny, and less frizzy when I both air dry and blow-dry it! It is also free of all harmful ingredients, chemicals, and silicones that weigh down and gunk up my hair. The smell is light and coconutty which reminds me of being at the beach! The texture of this leave in is light weight on the hair making it very easy to layer as a base under other products. My favorite way to use it is to put it on wet hair, then to style comb with a Denman brush. It leaves me with such bouncy and defined curls! I definitely see myself packing this for travel as well, as it can perform the function of about 6 hair products in one!!

I often times find it hard to find good products for my hair texture since it’s a combination curl pattern, and will need something that helps with my hair frizz while still being hydrating and can keep my hair soft without drying it out throughout the day. This leave in conditioner felt cooling to my scalp and definitely helped with my hair frizz. It smells amazing like brown sugar and used with the shampoo and conditioner combination it keeps your whole head smelling great. The leave in conditioner felt very hydrating from the scalp to maybe about the middle section of my hair but towards the ends I needed to soak my hair with it in order for all of it to feel hydrated. The detangle feature though is unmatched! I could easily run my fingers through my hair without having to fight with any tangles. I’ve been natural my whole life and love leave in conditioner just because it helps keep my hair more manageable and hydrated. For anyone who struggles with finding a good product for tangles while still maintaining healthy curls I would say this is a must have, but if your looking for hydration be prepared to have to use a lot to keep your hair feeling moist.
