I’m used to hair hold products having a more heavy or sticky consistency, but this goes on lightweight like a leave in conditioner. But once you style or air dry your hair, you will feel the product has worked as it definitely works to hold and form your curls. It greatly reduced the frizz my hair is prone to as well, and the scent is still noticeable hours after application. Just remember that a little of this product goes a long way, because you could get crunchy hair if you overdo it on the application. I prefer to use this on wet hair to help form my curl pattern before styling, but it’s so lightweight and easy to apply that you can use it on dry hair as well, especially for frizz management.

It absorbs easily and doesn’t weigh my hair down as long as I don’t overdo it. I like using it on wet hair over the Surface Hair Oil Gel to lock in my waves and create bigger, more defined wave clusters. It helps shape and separate my waves, making them look more defined without the crunchiness I often get with other products and in the mornings, if I need to tame a little frizz, I use a small amount, and it works perfectly!The biggest plus is its anti-frizz effect. I’ve struggled with frizz for years, and this is the first product that really helps control it. Oh my gosh does this smell fantastic. I want them to bottle this and make a perfume so badly. My thick, thirsty, dry 4C hair really appreciated this cream wax. I used it as a type of sealant after applying my leave-in and my Surface Hair Oil Gel. I think that regimen is the best for defining coils and locking in moisture. I like the packaging, I really appreciate that it’s not something you have to shake and squeeze so hard to get as much product as you need. Speaking of getting as much as you need, a little bit goes a long way. The texture provides a nice bit of slip and I had no issue spreading this evenly throughout my hair. I didn’t experience any flakiness or dryness. I usually do a “wash and go” but I always blow dry my hair to reduce split ends and this product fit into my routine very well.
