Not the same silky conditioner that it used to be

I agree with one of the reviews here. Something has changed with this conditioner. I too have been using this product for years and loved the way it glided through my hair. Now, my fingers get stuck in my hair trying to apply this product. It's doing the opposite of conditioning. I've also noticed this with the Bassu conditioner I bought a few months back. After all of these years I will sadly have to look for another product that will actually condition my hair, because the new recipe is garbage.

Great Companion to the Shampoo

I have only been using the Awaken shampoo and conditioner for a few times but there is definitely a difference in the feel of my scalp after use. It is truly a tingling sensation which makes me feel that something is happening. Time will tell and I have great hopes for these products.

Something is different..

I have used this product for YEARS. It used to be my holy grail. I've been on a hair health journey (haven't colored my hair in 3 years, hardly use any heat, regular trims). I purchased a liter bottle of this a few months ago and something is not right, because my ends are dry like straw. I even went to my hair salon and got a treatment to help with it (left smooth as butter) started back up with this and my hair is immediately dry again. It's awful! I have 3/4 of a bottle of this that I have to toss because it is doing the exact opposite of conditioning! I use it paired with the shampoo and haven't changed ANYTHING with my routine other than purchasing this. I don't know if it's a bad batch, but I easily have been using these products for 5-6 years, maybe more. If I don't switch I'm going to lose so much progress because my ends snag in my brush. I just got a trim and the treatment last week at my salon, so I know it's not because I have split ends.

Perf stuff

People complain it’s too thick. That’s the best part. I have a smaller bottle that I will mix the conditioner with water to create a more usable consistency. But then I use the thick stuff to mask my hair on occasion. A little more prep but I like to think it’s more bang for your buck. Great stuff. Doesn’t leave a residue.
