I wasn’t really sure what to expect. The texture kinda through me off . I assumed it would have more of a wax like consistency but it is just a basic cream . The Cream Wax paired well with other products in the line. Because of the texture I doubted that it would do anything in my hair, but boyyyy was I wrong ! This provided a nice hold. My curls were very nicely defined. And the best part ? It didn’t leave my hair super crunchy or flakey. A win is a win !

If you’re looking for a product thats going to help your curls pop, while also controlling frizz you may like this. Upon application i have tried it on dry and wet hair, and putting it on wet hair works wonders. The wax is super light and has a coconut scent to me. I loved that it didn’t leave any white cast, or make my hair super hard and crunchy. With this product i loved using it on my finger curls or the good ole scrunch method. With this product i was able to get at least 3-4 days of fresh looking curls before i needed to add a little oil to soften up the look! The only problem i had with this product was i felt like i needed to wash my hair before the week was up. Which is difficult because i normally only wash my hair once a week. Outside of that, this was such a good product!

Don’t let the smooth light texture fool you - this was packs a lot of holding power! I’m used to hair hold products having a more heavy or sticky consistency, but this goes on lightweight like a leave in conditioner. But once you style or air dry your hair, you will feel the product has worked as it definitely works to hold and form your curls. It greatly reduced the frizz my hair is prone to as well, and the scent is still noticeable hours after application. Just remember that a little of this product goes a long way, because you could get crunchy hair if you overdo it on the application. I added this cream wax to my hair routine as I haven’t tried a cream wax in the past before, so it was new to me. So far the experience of using this was amazing, I enjoyed how easy it was to apply and have only used a dime size amount to my hair, I have thick 2C hair and is low porosity so some products I’ve tried have weighed my hair down and make them loose the curl and end up frizzy and limp, but I used this after shampooing my hair and conditioner, and using the oil gel then used the wax cream. I used a brush to evenly distribute the cream and ensure it was smooth, and I enjoyed how this held my curls amazingly and helped them stay put and didn’t feel like my hair was getting weighed down ! I loved that and was confident I can use it every time

Cream Wax: The cream wax smells amazing as well if you apply it right after washing your hair with the surface cleansing cream, then apply the surface oil gel, and then apply the cream you will have long-lasting curly hair. You can define your natural Hair texture and not worry about frizz throughout the day. The was is not sticky and you don't need to apply a lot of it to have defined curls. photo is my hair with the hir cream wax added. Surface hair is now a staple for me. If you use the products in combination you will end with with the more light defined wash and go and will last for a long time, also it will smell amazing in your hair with is also a bonus! Oh my gosh does this smell fantastic. I want them to bottle this and make a perfume so badly. My thick, thirsty, dry 4C hair really appreciated this cream wax. I used it as a type of sealant after applying my leave-in and my Surface Hair Oil Gel. I think that regimen is the best for defining coils and locking in moisture. I like the packaging, I really appreciate that it’s not something you have to shake and squeeze so hard to get as much product as you need. Speaking of getting as much as you need, a little bit goes a long way. The texture provides a nice bit of slip and I had no issue spreading this evenly throughout my hair. I didn’t experience any flakiness or dryness. I usually do a “wash and go” but I always blow dry my hair to reduce split ends and this product fit into my routine very well.

This is my first time using a wax product on my 2B-2C wavy curls. This Curls Cream Wax by Surface Hair has a cool formulation, it's a similar consistency to a body butter and smells absolutely delicious. It reminds me of vanilla frosting, though it's not overly sweet, and I can smell it on my hair all day. I don't need to use that much of the Wax in order to get my desired effects, and definitely used too much of it my first time applying it to my hair. I have medium-thick hair and this absorbs right into my hair and won't weigh it down as long as I use the appropriate amount. I like using this on wet hair over Surface Hair's Oil Gel to help seal in the waves and make bigger curl clusters in my hair. Then in the mornings if I need to tame a little frizz, I use a sparse amount of the Wax again and it does the trick! What I'm most impressed about with this product is it's anti-frizz effects. Fighting frizz is my biggest issue and I've tried many products to tame it, so this Cream Wax is a major stand out!

Absolutely hate the entire line of curl products. I bought everything the "hair quiz" recommended. These products did nothing but dry my hair out the first time using them. Let's talk about the amount of frizz they created instead of any semblance of a curl. If I could give everything a negative rating I would. What a complete waste of over $300!
