I live in FL and after ten years the game changer is this. Using the shampoo and conditioner hydrates my curls like I didn't know was needed!!

I recently purchased the curls conditioner and was so disappointed to see there has been a formula change. It now smells strongly like cheap drugstore cologne. It’s a very unpleasant chemical smell. I will not be purchasing this product again.

Sent different product not what the bottle says!!!

I have loved the Curls line, but like another recent reviewer, the liter I recently received contained a thick, fluffy, white, NOT Curls-line fragrance conditioner instead of the golden, silky, coconut/cocoa butter scented conditioner we all love. I emailed Surface inquiring if there was a formula change, or if there was an error & the bottles were filled with the wrong conditioner. I did hear back and was told "Surface uses only natural organic ingredients; therefore, color and aroma may vary as no artificial colors or fragrances are added to our products," which didn't really answer my question. I emailed them again this morning, hoping for a reply because they either need to confirm a formula change, at which point, I'll be looking for new curl products, or they need to admit an error, and send out a new liter with the Curls conditioner in it.

This was my favorite shampoo/conditioner combo that I used for YEARS, but they've changed the formula. I wish I had known that before I bought the biggest bottle like I always do. It used to be so creamy, orange-tinted, and smell like coconuts. Now it's bright white, thick, and stinks like chemicals. I tried but my hair is dry AF with this. I hate it. I guess I'll start looking for a new shampoo and conditioner again.

Made my thick curls super frizzy. AFter three uses my hair was just one big ball.
Disappointingly I emailed customer service for advice and did not get a reply.

I have bleached blonde hair that is now turning wavy. My hair loves this line. Been so long since my hair was soft, smooth and moisturized.

I have used a lot of curl conditioners in my life time and never have I fallen so in love with a conditioner as this one. It makes my hiar feel so soft, I never have knots or frizz. I'm not loosing the amount of hair I was with my old conditioners. I love it!!!

I’ve been loving this conditioner! The conditioner adds just the right amount of moisture without weighing my hair down, and the smell is absolutely HEAVENLY. Using it together with the Surface Curls Shampoo, they leave my hair soft, shiny, and easy to style. Definitely a new favorite in my routine!

Then they changed the formula. Please go back to previous formula.
I will have to go hunting products again because this conditioner is not
the phenomenal conditioner it used to be. Now it is just average and just like all the rest.

This conditioner is the best product I’ve ever used for my curls!! The slip is phenomenal and the smell is amazing. I’m addicted to the entire group of curl products the Surface line.

A little product seems to go along way. I leave it in while finishing my shower and rinse out last. Hair is so smooth and soft feeling. Like that it is not heavy.

I absolutely love the smell of this product. The conditioning is really nice, fewer tangles and soft hair. I have thin curly hair though and feel it is a bit heavy for my hair porosity. I still think this is a great product and if my hair was not so thin this would be a 5/5.

the curls conditioner softens and calms my hair down

I have mostly 4b hair and can't get enough of this conditioner and shampoo. I look forward to wash days with these. I love the cocoa butter scent. A little goes a long way, thankfully! I'd just recommend getting the largest size since this works so well you don't have to question the cost. It's moisturizing and melts into curls, detangling knots. I feel like I don't have to follow with a deep conditioner.

Works very well to tame and soften curls

I started using this after after it was suggested to me by my hair stylist. I have had curls that were frizzy and would not hold. Using this has brought out more curls and less frizz, my hair no longer feels like straw. Definitely recommend this for the pleasant vanilla smell, lightweight conditioning and the fact that a bottle lasts forever.

I've been struggling with the health of my hair due to a health condition onset a few years ago. My new stylist recommended Surface Curls line, and has done wonders to my hair!! I get so many compliments and people really have been noticing the change. I recommend this to everyone - curly hair or not! :)

I’ve used many products for curly hair and have never found a conditioner I like more than Surface. It leaves your hair light and smooth!

I am no expert but my hairdresser is and recommended this, it makes my hair less frizzy and more curly. My complaint is the ridiculous price companies charge, I’d love to know the profit margin on this stuff. Very tired of companies’ greed. Do better.
