I’m always looking for more shine so I was excited to try this product. It says it has heat protection, which wasn’t something I expect from an oil. This also says it can be used on the sky to provide hydration but my skin is sensitive so I didn’t use the product in this way. I found I didn’t need to use much p, even on my dry, frizzy hair to see instant improvement in the shine. I added a little more to finish my style after blow drying. I liked that this was easy to use and fit in to my existing routine. My first impressions were that I preferred it to what I typically use for shine. I want to test it out on a more humid day so I can see how it holds up in terms of preventing frizz. Those with very fine hair might find this a bit too much but it is a thin and more lightweight option compared to many similar products I’ve tried.

Surface Hair is a brand I had not tried until recently and now that I have, I'm hooked! This Blowout Protective Oil may be my favorite hair product ever. With my very fine 2c hair, I struggle to find a heat protector that smooths my hair without weighing it down or making it look oily. This one is magical! I love the twist bottle that lets me control how much product I use and how foolproof it is. I apply it evenly from roots to ends before using my heated blowout brush, as well as afterwards to tame the fly-aways. The results are beautiful, high glossed hair that is so manageable, shiny and soft. I've used products that claim to be lightweight, but this one delivers and is just wonderful to use. I am thrilled with the way my hair looks and feels. This is a product I don't want to live without so of course I'm highly recommending this 5 star oil!

As someone who lives in a humid environment with both frizzy and damaged hair (due to bleaching), hair oils are a must-have in my routine. I've tried quite a few to narrow down my favorites, but this one surprisingly took the lead shortly after I started using it! For one thing, the dispensing mechanism is so convenient and gives me the perfect amount - if I wanted to oil my roots, I could easily do it with the fine tip dispenser on the bottle! It also smells absolutely heavenly - very fresh and fruity that instantly elevated my experience while using the oil. I like applying it to my dry hair for an instant hydrating effect and it spreads in the hair extremely easily even when dry, leaving no clumps of oil, which is huge since for my thick hair it can be hard to disperse products evenly. It's super lightweight and doesn't make my hair look greasy (which is a must-have as my hair naturally leans oily). It's easily become my everyday hair oil and I can't recommend it enough!

I am always on the hunt for amazing hair products. Especially ones that will bring my hair to life. My hair is so dull in lifeless that if I can find an amazing product that gives it just a little bit of life then consider me happy. I have used mini protective oils in the past and most of them I have a strongly disliked because regardless of how little of the product I would use they would usually leave my hair extremely oily looking. So here we are, Another hair oil and of course me extremely skeptical. I can happily say that I have now used this oil. Probably a dozen times since I'm getting it. It leaves my hair with an incredible amount of shine and this amazing softness that my husband can't get enough of, he just loves to touch my hair. It has a very slight but very pleasant smell as well. But that's not it. This oil also is good for the body. I get really dry hands and my eczema acts up on certain areas when it is colder outside and we just went through some bitterly cold weather in my area so I decided to try this out and the way it absorbs into your skin and does not leave any greasiness behind is just pure perfectness. A lot of people would not think to use a hair oil on their hands, but I have added some of this into a separate container to carry in my purse at all times. I will close this out with saying if you were looking for a good protective oil. You definitely need to look into getting this, I do not think you will be disappointed at all

I do have dry skin specifically during the winter months but this is so light weight that it does not leave a greasy texture or feeling it seriously just hydrates and protects while helping your skin and hair stay looking soft and beautiful. My hair is pretty healthy, color treated and I use heat tools on it approximately 3-4 times a week. I only wash my hair every few days so having products that don’t shorten that time are important to me. I loved using this Surface Protective Oil on my damp hair to give it protection from the hair dryer and straightening iron I use. I did not get the high shine that I’ve seen from other products I’ve used but I appreciate that it didn’t leave my hair feeling greasy. It’s hard to tell if it really did protect my hair but my hair felt fine after. Applying the product was easy, I just put it in my hands and then smoothed it over my damp hair. This can also be used on dry hair to smooth down fly aways. Overall I think the product does what it states it does.

My hair are thin and go oily second days after wash. I usually avoid oil as it worsen the situation. But this oil has won me. This is dry oil which does not feel oily or greasy and does the job the perfectly. It can be applied both wet or dry hair. This has really impressed me as tried it. I have used protective heat styling oils before, and this is the first time that I've used one not only for hair, but also for my body and face as well. I loved how smooth and soft my hair was after applying it and straightening and curling my hair. The protective oil definitely did its job there. And when i applied it to my body, my skin was the softest it has been in a long time. My skin feels like a baby's skin, newborn soft is what I call it. The scent was not overpowering like some protective oils and serums are. The texture was not sticky, but very smooth like satin. Even my husband noticed a difference with how soft my skin was. I didnt wash my hair for a couple days and my hair still felt soft and looked like i had just washed it and styled it. There was no greasy or oiliness like some protective oils do if you dont wash after a couple days. This protective oil was definitely the best one I have ever used in my life. I have fine, thinning hair and extremely dry scalp and ends. Also, I do not enjoy the feeling of greasy hair, which is why I tend to be very picky when choosing hair products. The Surface Blowout Protective Oil is a lightweight oil with a light fruity scent. I tried it by using enough to lightly cover my hair after following my normal wash routine. I was impressed at how much  moisture it provided to my usually dry hair ends, and that it did not feel greasy at all. My hair felt nourished, and felt softer too. As the next few days went by, I did not notice my hair feeling any greasier than it usually would after about three days of no washing, which is a major achievement in my book. The most unique thing about this product is that it can be used as body oil. I actually tried a small bit of it on my skin and it was effective and making my skin feel moisturized, but decided that my hair needed it more especially given the small size of the bottle.
