my scalp feels refreshing

I recently tried the Surface Hair Awaken Masque, and itâ€s been a total game-changer for my hair. The cooling sensation on my scalp feels incredibly refreshing, almost like a mini spa treatment. The masque contains ingredients like cayenne pepper and mint that not only invigorate the scalp but also deeply nourish the hair. Its creamy texture hydrates without weighing my hair down, leaving it soft, shiny, and smooth. After consistent use, Iâ€ve noticed significantly less breakage, healthier, and stronger hair. My styling holds better, and my hair feels more resilient. I love that itâ€s free from sulfates, parabens, and gluten, making it perfect for fine, weakened, or color-treated hair. Highly recommend it!**This review was collected as part of a promotion.

Refreshing boost the hair care routine

First Impressions: Surface Awaken Therapeutic Masque – A Rejuvenating Boost for Hair and ScalpTrying out the Surface Awaken Therapeutic Masque for the first time was an interesting experience, especially after using the matching Awaken Shampoo. Right away, I noticed the signature minty, herbal scent, which is quite strong but gives a refreshing spa-like vibe. If you enjoy invigorating, cooling sensations in your hair care routine, this masque definitely delivers. The formula is designed not just as a deep conditioner but as a therapeutic treatment for both the hair and scalp, which intrigued me since many hair masks focus solely on hydration without addressing scalp health.Squeezing the product out of the tube, I found the texture to be creamy but not overly thick. It spreads easily, making application smooth and effortless. Since this masque is meant to be applied from the scalp to the ends, I made sure to massage it into my scalp first before working it through the lengths of my hair. Almost instantly, I felt a tingling sensation—similar to the shampoo but even more intense. The cooling effect is likely due to the menthol and botanical ingredients, which are supposed to help stimulate circulation and promote healthy hair growth.Leaving the masque on for a few minutes, I could tell it was penetrating my hair rather than just sitting on the surface. Unlike some hair masks that feel overly heavy or greasy, this one felt weightless but still nourishing. While I let it sit, my scalp continued to tingle in a way that felt refreshing rather than irritating. It’s the kind of sensation that makes you feel like something is actually working, which I appreciated.Rinsing it out, I immediately noticed how soft my hair felt, but without the slippery, coated feeling that some deep conditioners leave behind. My scalp felt incredibly clean and refreshed, almost like I had done a detox treatment. My hair, while still damp, had a lighter, more airy feel rather than weighed down with residue. I could tell it was hydrated, but in a way that seemed to strengthen rather than just moisturize.Overall, my first impression of Surface Awaken Therapeutic Masque is that it’s a great option for those looking to balance scalp care with deep conditioning. It hydrates and strengthens without leaving behind any heavy residue, making it ideal for fine or thinning hair. The intense cooling sensation might not be for everyone, but if you enjoy that feeling, this masque will definitely deliver. While I need more time to see long-term benefits, my scalp and hair already feel healthier after just one use.

Smooth mask

I love this mask for its Menthol fragrance firstly. Keeps hair fresh and awake all day long. Always feels summer ready and feels we have good hair day with this as the smell keeps us good all day. This masque is for thinning hair and a healthy scalp which I need the most right now after using different kinds of products for my hair. Revitalizes and rejuvenates scalp and hair. Strange thing is this has Capsicum which is very unique and stimulates blood flow providing vital nutrients to the scalp. Moringa usage is also unique in this product. After cleansing with the Awaken Shampoo, I used this Awaken Masque in place of conditioner. I massage into the scalp for some time and did run it through the ends of my hair to work on split ends and I rinsed it. That madr my hair very fresh and soft after usage. Made my hair look fuller and stronger and ready to style. This brand has high-performance and is a salon professional, luxury hair care. So, I felt like i did a very costly hair wash and makeover after use.

Balance is key

I normally steer away from hair masks because my very oily scalp doesn’t seem to like a lot of them, as some can make it look even greasier. But my ends and mid-length absolutely need some moisture and TLC. It’s a struggle knowing how to keep my oil at bay while adding healthy nourishment to my hair, which is why I was so intrigued to try Surface’s Awaken Masque. It has a similar cooling sensation as the shampoo, which I really enjoy. Though I find I need a lot of more product to be able to massage it into the scalp and hair thoroughly. While I find it on the pricier end for the size, I do think it’s worth it! Specially since it delivers a salon / spa quality experience. It’s meant to target some of my key issues, and I’ve already seen improvement with just a few uses. My scalp stays fresher for longer and my hair is softer than it has been in months! I can’t wait to see consistent use bring much needed balance.

Tingles So Good

I’ve been using the Surface Awaken Scalp Treatment for several months at the recommendation of my hair stylist. - So naturally I was super excited to add the Awaken Shampoo + Masque to my hair regimen. I don’t wash my hair everyday, maybe 2-3 times a week, so I’ve only used the shampoo a few times so far. While I can’t speak to the hair growth capabilities of this product just yet, I can say that you can definitely feel the menthol and capsicum in the formula working to detox and stimulate your scalp while you shampoo. The smell is really nice - not too overpowering - it doesn’t induce burning in your eyeballs. The formula lathers up nicely - especially considering that it’s sulfate free formulation. The lather rinses out easily without leaving your hair feeling stripped or dehydrated. The Awaken Masque smell was slightly more potent than the shampoo. The formula is nice and rich without feeling super heavy or greasy. The masque says to only use it every 5 shampoos - so I’m assuming 1x a week - in place of conditioner. Leave on for 7 minutes while massaging into the scalp - then work it through ends of hair before rinsing. My scalp felt super tingly after rinsing. The formula rinses out easily and my hair felt soft and silky without feeling slimy or weighed down. I look forward to continued and posting progress updates on my hair regrowth.
